Scott joined the JEA Team in May, 2017 and provides support to the JEA Engineering staff.
Scott’s background includes working with and placement of candidates in the Federal integration industry. He scheduled and conducted interviews with candidates
and presented the candidates to clients. He created a daily plan of action with a goal of 75 calls per day.
Scott also worked as a Team Building Facilitator and Guide. He lead groups ranging from students to professional corporate groups through various challenges,
attempting to facilitate critical thinking, effective group communication, and team work. He created a plan that focused on completing tasks in a timely
and efficient manner. His responsibilities included leading participants through multi-level physically and mentally challenging courses, which included
climbing walls and zip-lines.
Scott has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. He traveled with a church youth group to build a home for a deserving family, as well as provided repairs
for other houses in various communities.
Scott is a member of Alpha Tau Omega National Leadership Fraternity. He is the Risk Manager of the chapter which entails creating plans of emergency action
and educating the chapter on safety policies and procedures. Scott also serves as Alumni Relations Chair for the chapter. He works to establish network
of alumni to improve business connections between current members and those in similar industries.
